How it works
An overview of the stripper deck, then shuffling and control.
Stripped Aces
The deck is shown to be shuffled and mixed. The cards are cut a few times and the four aces are now on top of the deck.
Tabled
A card is chosen and replaced in the deck. The cards are cut, the wrong card is shown, and it is tossed to the table. The magician asks for another chance and cuts to the same wrong card that was just chosen. The card thrown to the table is turned over and shown to be the chosen card.
Color Strip
The deck is shuffled and shown to be mixed in a random order. It is cut a couple of times, and when the deck is spread face up it is now separated into the red cards and the black cards.
Size 13 Suit
The deck is shown mixed and turned face down. With one cut, the top cards are turned over one at a time in perfect order and all in the same suit.
Gotcha Cut
A card is chosen and returned to the deck. The magician cuts the deck and holds the upper half in his hand. The seemingly chosen card is turned over and shown to be the wrong card. The half of the deck the magician is holding is turned face up and the chosen card is actually there.
Rising Card
A card is chosen and replaced in the deck. The deck is covered with a handkerchief. The magician slides his hand along the side of the deck and a card seems to rise under the handkerchief. The handkerchief is removed and the chosen card is sticking up out of the deck.
Card Stab
A card is chosen and replaced in the deck. The deck is wrapped with a paper napkin. A knife is shown and plunged into the deck. The cards above the knife are torn away, revealing the chosen card.
