Geared toward intermediate to advanced performers. You will need to buy supplies for some of the tricks, though most performers will already own what they need.
Clip Line
A strip of newspaper is shown and a sealed prediction is placed on the table. The spectator tells you to stop as you move a pair of scissors up and down the strip. When the paper is cut and falls to the table, the spectator reads where the paper was clipped. It matches the prediction in the envelope.
Steno Epic
A fantastic effect using the Mental Epic principle. A great comedy piece, or it can be played as a serious effect using three predictions.
ESB, the Extra Sensory Box
Using three matchboxes and a deck of ESP cards, you reveal the helper's chosen symbol and which matchbox they put it in. Easy to do, but a very strong effect.
Too Dicey
A two part prediction using two regular dice. The methods build off each other and look like an impossible mind reading effect. It can be performed close up, or on stage if you use larger dice.
Miko
A great effect made famous by Stewart James. A card is chosen and you tell them you will make your card half the value of theirs. They choose the seven of clubs. You look surprised, and when you turn over your card it is the three and a half of clubs. You can buy the gimmick at most magic shops or simply make your own.
Six Card Brainwave
Based on Nick Trost's Eight Card Brainwave, using six cards. When the card is chosen, you slide it out onto the table. You then show that the backs of the other five cards are all the same, and that the chosen card is different.
