A Night at the Movies
Shipping is $7 flat, however much you order, and it applies only to physical items. Pearl and The Squeaker are add-ons, so put them in with a trick.
Everything goes out by USPS, usually within a day or two of your order. Videos and books are downloads, so they never carry a shipping charge.
A hundred movies. They think of one. You tell them the plot.
What they see
Ten cards, ten movies on each, a hundred films spanning a century.
They pick one. Not a force and not a card you hand them. Their favorite, their least favorite, one they have seen a dozen times, one they have never seen at all. Their rules, their choice.
They never say it out loud.
You turn the cards over, they find their movie again, and you start telling them about it. Who was in it. What happens. The bit everybody remembers. Then the title.
The part that makes it yours
You are not doing a card trick, you are talking about movies, and that is a conversation anybody can have with you. It plays for one person or for a table, and it plays for adults in a way very little close-up does.
Know a film well and you can talk for a minute before you name it. Do not know it and you can still nail the title. My advice is to look a few of them up before you go out, because the details are what people remember.
